i have been keeping this within me for too long.

i am totally disguted with nkf

yes that’s the organisation which has organised 5 charity shows this year.

offering lucky draws with prizes of cash and condos and cars and what not.

they can offer whatever they want to.

but 5 charity shows a year

is simply too much

i was disgusted with the 3rd already, the “special” they had

now they have one for kids.

are they going to set up different shows for the elderly, middle-aged and toddlers too?

no, i don’t think i’m uncharitable.

i still donate to other charities whenever my bank account allows me to do so.

but i think it’s too much milking all of whatever kindness s’poreans have.

they’re not the only charity organisation around man

and even though i agree that kidney disease patients do require a hell lot of subsidies to keep treatment affordable,

but hey, they have more than enough funds to keep going for another 2 or 3 years!

why the heck do they need to store so much money?!

and what with the president’s charity, the heart foundation one, the community chest one, renci, just how many times do they wanna do charity shows?

i remember there used to be a time when you could walk around singapore on saturdays without donation tins being shoved into your face.

those days are long gone.

i wonder if there will be monthly charity shows someday.
