i can never watch wartime movies because of the cruelty and hardships shown. just like how i went though half of the rape of nanking and i have never been able to finish it.

i bought schindler’s list a million years ago and to date, i’ve never even finished watching half the show. i got my hands on the pianist and it was painful watching the first half an hour. people getting shot for asking harmless questions, being hunted down on the streets and shot down by soldiers as a game and an invalid getting thrown out of his wheelchair from a balcony.

i know it’s just a movie but i also know stuff like that happen in wars. it’s ridiculous what happens during wars, it’s like people lose their humanity and senses while trying to survive.

i don’t think i’ll even try watching wartime movies anymore, it’s not as if i’ll ever finish one.
