i get very amused when i discover new things about brands i didn’t know before.

just like how i discovered sara lee, you know, the sara lee pound cake brand (i still have fuzzy memories of their tv advertisements from dinosaur years ago) is also the parent company for these:

that’s on top of brands for insecticides and bathroom cleansing detergents. i couldn’t believe it when i saw the sara lee logo on the label of the bathroom detergent my housemate bought. it’s like…food and insecticides and detergents and shoe polish and air fresheners?

a classic example of diversifying into non-related products but definitely weird when any weird customers like me thinks about it.

did i mention that they have a brand ? hen hao xiao.
