i got a little tired of how gloomy a dark-coloured theme can be so here’s something brighter. with this change, all the pictures i uploaded during the gloomy days will adopt an ugly gray border around it. it hurts the eyes, i know. if i’m damn free during my impending unemployment i’ll change the darned images one by one. we’ll see how it goes, it sounds like a lot of work. gotta remember to stick to white backgrounds from now on.

Maybe it’s also time to start writing properly. I’ve always written in lowercase because I like the look of it. Lowercase writing is less distracting when I write in fragmented sentences. But in these one and a half years I’ve written so many reports, I am now unfamiliar with typing in lowercase. It has become a chore to blog in lowercase. See how first lah (see! it looks weird!).

this was one of the earliest blogskins i used, minus the image of a bright starry thing on the left hand side with some lyrics from a mayday song. the image host i used died or something, that’s why the picture isn’t there anymore. it’s amazing how this thing lets you browse through archives of websites but unfortunately, this was the only one i could find of my blog. i do kinda miss the various designs i did when i was using blogger.

but still, it’s been a good 4 years and here’s to many more!

it’s weird how many people have been directed to one of my earlier posts when they keyed in “pretty long toenails” or “long pretty toenails” in the search engine.

funny thing is, i didn’t talk about toenails in that particular post. and i don’t understand why anyone would search for such stuff, unless they have some toenail fetish. and, i certainly don’t have long pretty toenails, except when i’m feeling damn rich and spend on a pedicure. but i do have pretty long (as in rather long, not beautifully long) toenails cos i always forget to trim my toenails.

there you go, now i have a proper post about pretty long toenails, haha.

oh yeah, moral of the story: never trust search engines too much.

while exploring all those absolutely cool and fun downloadable things for ally, i stumbled upon bonecho, which is a faster version of firefox for ally. usually i can’t tell the difference between these speed thingys but this bonecho is really noticeably faster than firefox.

it’s 99.9% similar to firefox too, except for small little things which you wouldn’t even notice if you’re not observant enough.

i think these people who write these codes are complete geniuses. yeah they may be geeky and nerdy from time to time but they’re modern einsteins!

now i can explore the world more efficiently. for instance, my search for a offline blogging tool can be made faster.
